Quran Scroll Privacy Policy

Overview

Quran Scroll is an offline Quran reader by Yoraba for iOS and Android. There is no account or developer-operated server for reading data. This policy explains what stays on your device and when third-party services receive information.

Information on your device

The Arabic Quran text, English translation and search data are bundled in the app. Your saved verses, reading position, text-size choice and appearance setting are stored locally. Searches run on your device; we do not receive that reading data. You can remove it by deleting the app or clearing its storage on Android. iOS device backups may include app data. Android cloud backup is disabled; device-to-device transfer depends on the Android version.

Network use and purchases

Reading, browsing, saving and search work offline. If you choose a one-time tip, Apple or Google Play processes the purchase; we do not receive your payment card details. Opening the Tanzil link in Settings connects your browser to that website. Sharing a verse sends its content to the app or service you choose.

Advertising and consent

Google AdMob may show banners on Scroll, Browse and Settings, but not in Tip jar. Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) asks for consent before ad requests. If consent is unavailable, the app does not request an ad. In regions requiring privacy choices, reopen them in Settings → Ad privacy choices.

When an ad is requested, Google may receive device or advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, device and app information, IP-derived location, and diagnostics to deliver, measure and protect ads. Read Google's advertising privacy information. We do not send your reading history to Google. Development builds may use Google test ads on iOS or a local test-ad placeholder on Android.

Other practices

There is no account, developer-run analytics service, contact access or user-generated content service. The app does not request device location permission. Advertising data practices are described above; do not assume there is no tracking by the ad provider. We will update this policy and its date if the app's practices change.
