PDF Toolkit Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 7, 2026
Overview
PDF Toolkit ("we", "the app") is published by Yoraba. This policy describes how the app handles information on iOS and Android. We do not require an account and we do not operate a backend. Your PDF files are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. The only network traffic the app makes is the advertising and purchase traffic described below.
Information stored on your device
- Recent files list: file names, the action you performed, and a reference to the file location. Clear it in Settings.
- Saved signatures (iOS): signature images you create in the app. Delete them in Settings.
- Preferences: for example your default save location and ad consent state.
Passwords you enter to open a protected PDF are used only to open that file and are not stored.
Permissions
The app has no access to your files or photos except what you choose.
- Files: you pick PDFs with the system document picker. The app can read only the files you select.
- Photo library (iOS): used only when you choose a photo to turn into a signature.
Advertising and consent
The app shows Google AdMob banner ads on the Tools, tool, result, and Files screens. Ads are not shown on the Tip Jar, Settings, or while signing, and not after you leave any tip.
Where required, the app shows Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) before requesting ads, and you can reopen your choices in Settings → Privacy choices. On iPhone and iPad you may also see Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data according to Google's ads policy and your device settings. You can limit personalised ads:
Purchases
The Tip Jar offers four one-time tips (Coffee, Cake, Lunch, Feast). Any tip removes ads. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google; we do not receive your payment card details. The platform shares purchase entitlement with the app so it can remove ads and restore that on a new device.
Crash reporting and analytics
The app does not include analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. If you choose to email us, we receive only what you send.
Children's privacy
PDF Toolkit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the changes.
