Bible Scrolls Privacy Policy

Overview

Bible Scrolls ("the app") is published by Yoraba. This policy describes how the app handles information on iOS and Android. We do not require an account or operate a backend for the app. Scripture and study content are bundled for offline use. The app has no analytics SDK, but third-party advertising and app-store purchases involve the services described below.

Information on your device

Favorites, bookmarks, personal notes, and app settings are stored on your device. Yoraba does not receive them. You can remove this data by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it; uninstalling may permanently erase notes.

Advertising

The free app may show banner ads from Google AdMob on the Bible, Discover, Search, and Settings screens. Ads are not shown in the Tip Jar. If you buy a tip, ads are removed. AdMob may process device identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostics to serve and measure ads under Google's advertising policies. Ad requests contact Google's servers; we do not receive your notes or saved verses.

The current iOS release does not display an in-app consent or App Tracking Transparency prompt. Advertising and consent behavior may change in a later release; this policy will be updated if it does.

Purchases

Optional one-time tips are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive your payment card details. The platform provides purchase status to the app so it can remove ads; the app also stores the ad-removal state on your device.

Permissions and other data

The app does not need your location, contacts, camera, or photos to read Scripture. We do not operate an analytics or crash-reporting service for the app. If you email us for help, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond.

Children's privacy

Bible Scrolls is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The last-updated date above will change when we do.
